You MUST comply with all local laws and regulations related to robocalls and texting/SMS. In USA, you must comply with the Federal Trade commission (FTC), Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Telemarketing Sale Rule (TSR) requirements before voice broadcasting any calls or sending any Texts/SMS. You MUST comply with Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and the Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing (CAN-SPAM) Act.

The FTC and FCC bans on pre-recorded telephone calls for solicitation purposes unless the solicitor has received a prior, written and signed agreement from the call recipient. Some exceptions for pure information (non-solicitation) calls are permitted. The rules do require all pre recorded calls, including market research or polling calls, to identify the caller at the beginning of the message and include a contact phone number. You must also comply with the national Do Not Call List registry. Callers are prohibited from making telephone solicitations to any numbers on the Do Not Call list. FCC rules require you to provide your consumers with an opt-out mechanism. Detailed information can be found on the FTC website
